Allison began attending dog shows at 10 years of age when her father began competing in obedience with one of their shelties. She was raised in a multiple-sheltie household for many years until she was offered a co-ownership on a young Wheaten male by good friend and mentor, Susan Sakauye of Harbour Hill Wheatens. Thus, Allison's dynasty of Wheatens began!
